    Melvin Park is named in honor of Brinkley Melvin’s parents, Henry and Harriett Melvin and is operated by the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission.

    The 2018 Melvin Park Splash season will officially begin on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

    Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. daily Monday Through Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. -8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Wristbands are $3/per person or $40/15 visit punch card. Call 803-345-8113 for more information.

    The office located near the splash pad and the tennis courts is open year-round.
